Another diverse and dynamic GIM 2008 participant – Soyini Taylor
Hope you enjoyed reading and connecting with Hana. One of other diverse and dynamic participant for GIM 2008 was Soyini Taylor. This week I am interviewing both Hana and Soyini and will share their GIM experiences with you soon, till then enjoying reading more about Soyini….
A bit about Soyini
Soyini Taylor’s first trip to China was in 2002 as an English teacher. She was so fascinated by China that she became determined to find a way to make a more permanent home in Shanghai. Born and raised in New York City, Soyini has a global family spread out over Jamaica, England, Canada and New Zealand. But her adventures in China were very different from all the rest. Especially, she cites witnessing China’s development and preparation for the World Expo firsthand as an amazing experience. Soyini was the Director of MBA Diversity’s Inaugural Global Immersion Module (GIM) to Shanghai in 2008 and is honored to be the Director of GIM 2010 to Shanghai. Currently, Soyini is working in Shanghai at a private company as a Database Engineer. Her hobbies include meeting new people and enjoying Shanghai’s exciting nightlife.
